How we calculate it
Turning your date into the Mayan calendar takes a constant that fixes day zero of the Long Count. We use the GMT correlation, 584283, the one Mayanists use.
If another calculator gives you a different sign, it uses a different constant: with Martin and Skidmore (584286) your sign moves three places, and the 13 Moon calendar skips 29 February. Same date in, same result out, every time.

What are my day sign and my kin?
The Tzolk’in combines 20 day signs with 13 tones. Every day has a sign and a tone, and its place in the 260-day cycle is its kin. Your birth day sign is the sign of the day you were born.
Why does another calculator give me a different sign?
Because it uses a different correlation, or the 13 Moon calendar, which is a different system. Exsignum uses the GMT 584283 correlation and says so before you calculate.
What do I get every morning?
An email with your reading for the day, calculated from your date of birth, in the tradition you choose. With the full plan you get all five: Mayan, Chinese, Western, tarot and numerology.
How much does it cost?
